The Dawg Has Landed!!!!

Why is every one so upset! We're coming back stronger than ever....well, sort of! Starting on Monday, February 16th, The Thom Abraham Show will debut on Sportsradio 560 WNSR in Nashville and 103.9 FM in Central Kentucky, covering Bowling Green, KY, Noon-3p central time. We'll also be doing some stuff on various ESPN Platforms....more on that to come! I am very
pleased to be able to return to the air in Nashville and to continue to be streamed here at thomabraham.com. More importantly, much to the chagrin of all these guys, I was stunned at the number of supportive e-mails I received from listeners and sponsors alike! And that was only from those that found me since my old corporate e-mail address was killed about 15 minutes after I got the word they were shutting us down! Man, those guys are efficient....or something... Chris Ladd, formerly of The Phil Valentine Show, will be producing the show and we even have an 800 number (888-702-5494) for those of you outside the 615 area code to get in. Many of the same suspects will be joining us as we welcome in a whole new midday crowd, and hopefully many of the original Junk Yard Dogs! Thanks for you Patience and we'll talk to you on Monday!

Wow Thom. Didn't you just buy a house in Spring Hill. It looks like you will be doing some commuting. I wasnt a big fan of the show. I felt there was way to much gambling. The show was the same every day. I could set my clock to when nut-job phillip or nut-job Dan is smurna would call.
I dont think you need trifectas every day to land listeners. Take care Thom and I'll probably tune in on the am channel.

Hey Thom,
am glad to hear you'll still be on the air here in the Nashville area. i tune in everyday on my lunch break (from 2-3pm) and you've been my lifeblood for local sports. i never got a chance to call in, but enjoy every minute of your show.
thanks for all you do, and continued success moving forward! look forward to listening to you again starting monday!

Man did somebody screw-up! We're upset because we have no one to listen to on the radio on the ride home!

You had a great show going! What I loved about it was that it didn't fit the "vanilla" mold that most radio shows have gone to. It had a personality! Mike and Mike, while hard workers, frankly are not the most talented guys in the world.

I also appreciated your "northern" insights, as I too am from the north. I can't knock the southerners, because they let me live here...but thank god there are northerners in Nashville!

Good luck to you...hopefully I can podcast your new show for the ride home from work.

For sports knowledge you guys were the best. I got irritated with some of your chauvinist atittudes, but for the most part, it was good sports talk. Sorry to hear of the cuts. And since it won't be drive time, I will miss the show. Hope all continues to go well as you add "spice" to talk radio

Thom, I'm glad your moving to a station that can reach Spring Hill
finally. Any chance you move back close in time for the baseball
season. I am holding Tommys spot as long as I can. Drop me an email and
I will send you my new number. CD

Good to hear that you've found the new radio home; we can't afford to lose one of the (very) few hockey-literate voices on the air in Nashville!

You wil be missed. The ability to cover a variety of local sports - whether it was Vandy/UT/MTSU of all sports, the Preds, or just the on-location informative spots covering the Titans pre-season practice with Theresa and the post game interviews with Haynesworth etc. the days after sunday - it was all entertaining and relevant. I would always listen 5-6 on the way home, and just thought you lost an hour when I started to hear the national broadcast. Good luck noon-3. You and your show and your access to relevant interviews will be sorely missed on my commute home. 106.7 and the powers that be have made a mistake.

Thom,
I've been traveling the last few months. Came back to find the espn format for 106.7 the fan had changed, and for the worse. I miss your show! You made my drive time bearable! Well, I listen to your new show when I can and will call in sometime.
Best of luck in your new digs, Mazel tov.
