As impressive as all this is, as I watched the OU/Texas game from the Georgia press box, I kept telling myself that those offenses would not be doing that in the SEC. I kept recalling Alabama smothering Texas Tech's 50 point a game offense a few years ago in the Cotton Bowl. Certainly, there is great concern in Knoxville and on the Plain, but I'd still put Bama, Georgia, Florida and LSU on the field with anyone. Certainly with Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State....

Get out of here Tom. The SEC is down this year and you know it. Go back to Bama... We dont need ya...
Thom,it seems obvious to me that the Big-12 has the better offenses (confident, accurate QBs)and the SEC has the better defenses (angry pass rushers).Because of the lack of a fast pass rush all the quarterbacks in the Big-12 seem to have longer time to make better decisions. The Quarterbacks in the SEC aren't as good to start with but would have better numbers if given two or three more seconds to react. As crazy as it sounds John Parker Wilson may be the best QB in the SEC west.
SEC Feruver! They dont play ball no whres else lik in da souf. Bama is #1 Saban is god. Bama 1, Geo 2, Fla 3, LSU 4. Then everyone els.
